Lepton Flavor Violation in SUSY GUT Model with Non-universal Sfermion Masses

چکیده
We analyze lepton flavor violating τ → μγ and μ → eγ processes in SUSY GUT model in which sfermions have special mass spectrum. It is assumed that only third generation sfermions which are contained in 10(Q,Uc,Ec) of SU(5) can have a different mass from the others. This mass spectrum is led from E6 GUT model with horizontal symmetries. It is shown that branching ratios of τ → μγ and μ → eγ depend strongly on a right-handed stau mass. The weak scale stability requires the light stau, so large decay rates can be expected in this scenario. When stau is around 150 GeV and tan β ∼ 10, the branching ratios can be larger than Br(τ → μγ) ≃ 10−8 and Br(μ → eγ) ≃ 5× 10−12, which are within reach of future experiments. In addition, this model has an interesting feature that the final state charged lepton tends to have the right-handed chirality.

Quasi-Degenerate Neutrinos and Lepton Flavor Violation in Supersymmetric Models
In supersymmetric (SUSY) models the misalignment between fermion and sfermion families introduces unsuppressed flavor-changing processes. Even if the mass parameters are chosen to give no flavor violation, family dependent radiative corrections make this adjustment not stable. We analyze the rate of l → lγ in SUSY-GUT models with three quasi-degenerate neutrinos and universal scalar masses at t...
متن کاملImproved GUT and SUSY breaking by the same field 1
In a previous paper [1], we presented a model in which the same modulus field breaks SUSY and a simple GUT gauge group, and which has dynamical origins for both SUSY breaking and GUT scales. In this model, the supergravity (SUGRA) and gauge mediated contributions to MSSM scalar and gaugino masses are comparable – this enables a realistic spectrum to be attained since the gauge mediated contribu...
متن کاملCEDM constraints on modified sfermion universality and spontaneous CP violation
We discuss the supersymmetric CP problem that arises when the sfermion soft mass universality is modified. We place the 3rd generation SU(5) ten-plet sfermion masses in the weak scale in view of the naturalness. The other sfermion masses are assumed to be universal and a TeV scale in order to weaken the flavor changing neutral current processes and electric dipole moment (EDM) constraints. Howe...
